TalentEngine Connects for Edwards Lifesciences

The talent pool at Edwards Lifesciences just got a bit deeper. Monty Mars, a long time OCTANe member is the new Director of Business Development, thanks to the OCTANe TalentEngine! Monty returned to Orange County several years ago to work with biotech and material science start-up companies. However, Edwards had always been on his "short list" of large companies to join, so when the opportunity presented itself he was excited to pursue it.
"I've been an OCTANe member and LaunchPad resource since 2005," said Monty. "OCTANe has all the right industry connections and know-how to really make things happen in Orange County...including linking me with great companies like Edwards."
Edwards Lifesciences is a global leader in advanced cardiovascular disease treatments and the number one heartvalve company in the world. Edwards is also a founding partner of OCTANe, and CEO Michael Mussallem is an OCTANe Board Member.
